Admissions

Admission is purely on merit and is subject as per the directions issued by the Government of Maharashtra and the University of Mumbai from time to time. A transparent admission procedure is followed strictly based on standard norms issued by Admission regulating Authorities. The notices issued related to Admissions sall be displayed in the college website from time to time

For First Year Admission

Admission to First Year Law Course is through MH - CET (Law) as per the rules of Government of Maharashtra and University of Mumbai. The details are available on the Government of Maharashtra website

Admission to a student from a University /Board other than University of Mumbai/ State Board of Maharashtra is subject to the rules of eligibility. The Student should submit Migration & confirmation of the verification of documents from the parent university.

Student seeking admission in First Year should register on www.mum.digitaluniversity.ac prior to seeking admission to this College.

Admission For Inhouse Students (After 1st year)

All Students shall fill in a fresh admission form for Each year along with all the Mark sheets of Previous and pay the necessary fees on or before the due date informed Time to Time.


Second Year Admission

Candidate for being eligible for admission to the Second Year of 3 years LL.B. & 5 Years B.L.S/LL.B. course must have passed in the examinations of the First and Second Semester. or Failed in Not more than Two Subjects of the First and Second semesters(excluding Practical Training Paper in Semester II for LL.B. (3Year)).

Third Year Admission

A candidate for being eligible for admission to Third Year should mandatorily pass all the papers of First year and must have either passed in the Third and Fourth Semesters or Failed in Not more than Two Subjects of the Third & Fourth semesters(excluding Practical Training Paper in Semester IV for LL.B. (3Year)).

Fourth Year Admission

(*Applicable for 5 Year law Course)

A Candidate of 5 Year B.L.S for being eligible for admission to Fourth Year should mandatorily pass all the papers of First year and Second Year and must have either passed in the Fifth and Sixth Semesters or Failed in Not more than Two Subjects of the Fifth and Sixth semesters. (Excluding Practical Training Paper in Semester VI )

Fifth Year Admission

(*Applicable for 5 Year law Course)

A Candidate of 5 Year B.L.S for being eligible for admission to Fifth Year should mandatorily pass all the papers of First year, Second Year& Third Year and must have either passed in the Seventh & Eighth Semesters or Failed in Not more than Two Subjects of the Seventh & Eighth semesters. (Excluding Practical Training Paper in Semester VIII )

General Rules

As per the Rules of Bar Council of India, NO student shall be allowed to register for a law degree program simultaneously with any other course run by the same or any other University or an Institute for academic or professional learning. However any short period / part time certificate course on of an Institute or any course run by a Centre for Distance Learning of a University or any add-on part-time course/s in the areas in or related to law are accepted provided the timings for the Law Course of this University do not clash with such course.

Cancellation Of Admission And Fee Deduction

The candidates who have taken admission may request for refund of fees after applying in writing for cancellation of their admission to the course and specify the reason for cancellation. The refund of fees will be as per rules prescribed by the competent authority or University of Mumbai. The refund shall be only through crossed cheque only and students should personally collect the same from office.
